Marja Brown, Class of 1989
Hi, this is Marja Brown, class of 1989. I read the most recent
newsletter and saw a note from Tim Moore and figured that I would
write
in as well. I went to Franklin & Marshall for undergrad and
I am now
working on my Masters in Psychology at the University of North
Carolina-Greensboro. Moving from NJ to North Carolina was quite
a
change, but after a year I am very much settled in and feeling like
I
have found my new home. My program is 5 years long, only 4 more
to go
and then I will have my Ph.D.. How is everyone there at HFS? My
only
other news is that I just got a puppy. His name is Winston Bentley.
He
is 8 weeks old and full of energy! Instead of me training him, I
think
he might be training me! Wish me well. Please if any of my classmates
read the newsletter, don't hesitate to write.

Joan Olson, Class of 1998
Hi everyone,
I hope you enjoyed/are enjoying your summer.I sure am. I attended
Appel Farm camp which was an amazing experience, and when I got
home I
had a new baby brother to greet me. Kolbi Masaru Yamamoto was born
on
June 19, and is doing well. Later in August I will be attending
a Young
Friends gathering, as I have become more involved with the group
and
the Quaker Community in general. In September I will start my second
year at Cherry Hill East. I hope to visit in the fall, and want
you to
know that you are all in my hearts.
